Abstract: The author reflects on the need of businesses to manage insurance costs in the U.S. He comments on the increasing rate of health-insurance premiums which have negative impact on companies. The author suggests that the solution to the problem in healthcare insurance must be focused on a cooperative effort between the employers and their employees. The author notes that it could be done through combining the use of technology, consumerism, and employee education.
