| Abstract: | Business English is inherently interdisciplinary, encompassing areas such as international negotiation, trade cooperation, e-commerce, finance, marketing, and international exchange (IE). The major emphasizes both professionalism and practical application, equipping graduates for roles that require hands-on expertise. To meet the growing demand for cross-cultural communication skills and align with the teaching needs of Business English courses, this study explores the integration of multimodal discourse analysis with computer-based tools in Business English teaching. We introduce a variety of innovative multimodal approaches and create a dynamic, multimodal teaching platform for courseware development. Experimental results show that after one semester of implementation, students in the experimental class achieved a 16.3% higher average score in business expertise and a 14.6% improvement in business practice compared to the control group. Furthermore, our multimodal evaluation system, based on an improved K-nearest neighbors (KNN) algorithm, achieved an accuracy of 88% and an F1 score of 0.86. These outcomes validate the platform's impact in improving engagement, knowledge mastery, and course classification accuracy. The proposed approach combines traditional 3D teaching materials with modern evaluation tools, creating an enriched multimodal classroom experience that fosters effective learning in the Business English context.
