Abstract: Abstract: We present here the structural and magnetic properties of polycrystalline samples La0.67Ca0.33Mn(1−x)Fe x O3 (). Samples have been prepared in single phase form. X-ray diffraction patterns have been recorded at room temperature and these could be indexed to the orthorhombic perovskite structure with space group. From the temperature variation of the AC susceptibility measurement, the system displays essentially paramagnetic (PM) to ferromagnetic (FM) transition with decreasing temperature. The PM to FM transition temperature is suppressed with increasing Fe concentration. Irreversibility in the temperature dependent DC magnetization has been observed in zero-field-cooled and field-cooled measurements. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
