Abstract: The article highlights the expectations of analysts on the technology industry in 2009. Andy Woyzbun, lead analyst at Info-Tech Research, said that there is going to be a significant absorption of companies that do not have solid capitalization during the year, with the pre-public companies being the perfect victims. Kent Kaulfield of Ernst & Young Canada cited that outsourcing will take a selective approach in 2009 as more companies become aware that security breach can destroy the brand they built up.
