Title: An Approach to Assess and Compare Quality of Security Models.
Authors: Matulevicius, Raimundas1 rma@ut.ee, Lakk, Henri1 henri.lakk@gmail.com, Lepmets, Marion2 Marion.Lepmets@tudor.lu
Source: Computer Science & Information Systems. May2011, Vol. 8 Issue 2, p447-476. 30p. 2 Color Photographs, 6 Diagrams, 5 Charts.
Subjects: PL/SQL (Computer program language), Computer security, Computer engineering, Computer software, Systems development
Abstract: The article presents a systematic approach to measure quality of the security models after the installation of the Semiotic Quality (SEQUAL) framework. It highlights a study which equates the quality of the security model using model driven security (MDS) approaches and security model using Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL). The study reveals in a higher quality for the security models made at the design stages of the systems development and the requirements engineering.
