Abstract: The article discusses the advantages of Xeon family of processors over the processor Intel Core i7. It states that the main difference between the two processors is the Xeon feature of Error Correcting Code Memory which protects systems from crashes and offers five 9s protection from errors. Advantages also include use of higher-end components, a larger cache, and greater overall memory capacity.
