Abstract: Highlights: [•] MAPLE deposition technique was used to deposit OBPs onto SAW devices. [•] The surface density of the OBP coating was dependent on the laser parameters. [•] The biochemical structure of OBPs was not modified by the deposition process. [•] The functionality of the OBPs was established by measurements with SAW sensor. [•] The obtained sensitivities were proportional to the thickness of the OBP layers. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
