Abstract: The article informs that teachers can follow relationship building stratigies to help students struggling with trauma. Topics discussed include focusing on body language and facial expressions for helping students; creating a sensory toolbox filled with various fidget toys, stress balls, small weighted lap blankets for helping students to recognize their own feelings and to learn to control them; and helps students build supportive relationships.
