Abstract: The article presents the several interview with Children's Literature Assembly members Cynthia Leitich Smith, ‡Carole Lindstrom, and Kevin Noble Maillard. Topics include the 21st anniversary of my first book, Jingle Dancer, and it is dedicated to great auntie, the grandmother was sent to an Indian boarding school, and the weirdest thing about it was that it's in the second week of August in Oklahoma.
