My teachers in teacher education, Professor Hannele Niemi and Professor Pertti Kansanen encouraged me to continue doctoral studies in education and helped me in many ways to get the support and funding for my research. And specifically, how can teacher education programs help teachers continue to best address the social-emotional and mental health issues of students and teachers?
