| Abstract: | The article introduces Volume 21, Issue 1 of Across the Disciplines (ATD), highlighting an increase in submissions and the quality of feedback provided by consulting readers. Efforts are underway to update editorial practices based on anti-racist scholarly reviewing practices. Additionally, ATD has formed a partnership with the Association for Writing Across the Curriculum (AWAC) to enhance collaboration and support for scholars in the field. The issue features articles on topics such as the role of listening in writing fellow work, challenges faced by doctoral students in writing expectations, and leveraging grant writing to transform students' views of STEM.
