Abstract (English): The research on the functioning of the New Mexican School (NEM) has paid little attention to what happens in the academic dynamics of the management and supervising staff. The 2022 Curriculum project, besides being difficult to understand, has been carried out in a hurry, without clearly defining the responsibilities assigned to management tasks. In a broad sense, the assumption is that the management staff will carry out a pedagogical management of accompaniment to the operation of the NEM in the different institutions; the actual situation is that principals and supervisors fundamentally consider it a bureaucratic burden they have to deal with while carrying out their work. This article is based on group interviews with these actors, supplemented at certain points by interviews with teachers and observations of four assemblies held to discuss how they carry out their work. Abstract (Spanish): La investigación en torno al funcionamiento de la Nueva Escuela Mexicana (NEM) ha dado escasa atención a lo que acontece en la dinámica académica del personal directivo y de supervisión. El proyecto del Plan de Estudios 2022, además de tener dificultades para su comprensión, se ha llevado a cabo con apresuramiento, sin definir con claridad el lugar asignado a las tareas de gestión. En un sentido amplio se supone que el personal directivo realizará una gestión pedagógica de acompañamiento al funcionamiento escolar de la NEM, frente a una realidad que fundamentalmente directores(as) y supervisores(as) expresan como una carga burocrática con la que realizan su labor. El artículo está construido a partir de entrevistas grupales a estos actores, complementadas en algún momento con las realizadas a docentes y en la observación de cuatro asambleas convocadas para expresar la forma en que realizan su labor.
