Abstract (English): Introduction. Currently in Spain, the student profile is very diverse; encompassing different ages, academic trajectories and responsibilities, as a result of the multiple access routes to university. In this context, it is necessary for university guidance actions to offer support according to the individual characteristics of the student, considering their transitions from an evolutionary point of view, in order to achieve academic success and an adequate insertion into the labour market. Therefore, the aim of this research focuses on analysing the needs of academic, personal, professional and service guidance, depending on the evolutionary moment of the student body. Method. The sample of this study is composed of 400 students from the University of Extremadura with a mean age of 23.12 (SD = 4.99), distributed by sex in 32% men and 68% women. A quantitative correlational and cross-sectional approach was used. The data collection instrument was the Questionnaire on University Orientation Needs in Ecuador (CNOU-E). Data analysis was carried out using SPSS software. Results. The results revealed that there is a positive, albeit low, correlation between age and the need for personal guidance. Furthermore, no significant differences were found between age groups in academic, career and service guidance needs. Discussion and conclusions. Guidance needs are present at every stage and moment of life. It is therefore essential that universities offer comprehensive support to students, covering academic as well as personal and professional aspects. It is proposed that personalised attention measures be implemented, adapted to the specific needs of each student and their stage of development. This approach not only favours academic and professional development, but also the personal wellbeing of students. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): Introducción. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
