Abstract: The article shares how to improve leader well-being, such as reducing work-related demands, increasing consistent access to responsive, high-quality professional development, and creating strong professional communities. Topics discussed include the unique challenges early learning leaders face and findings from the Happy Leader Project which studied the working conditions and well-being of early childhood and pre-K-grade 12 leaders.
