Abstract: The article focuses on the integration of Human Factors Engineering (HFE) into high school education, particularly within STEM and Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways. HFE, which emphasizes user-centered design and ergonomics, aims to enhance human interaction with technology and systems, thereby improving safety, productivity, and comfort. The article discusses the implementation of an HFE course at Union County Magnet High School, highlighting its curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on projects, fostering transferable skills such as empathy and collaboration. The findings from student surveys indicate strong engagement and a desire for more project-based learning, suggesting that HFE effectively prepares students for future careers in various fields.
