Abstract (English): This study explores the diverse approaches adopted by primary school teachers in the preparation of their teaching materials, a critical aspect of their pedagogical practice that directly influences student learning. Using a mixed-methods design combining a survey (n = 183) and interviews (n = 12), we aimed to understand general trends in the use, adaptation, or creation of teaching materials, as well as the specific concerns of different teacher profiles. By examining common and distinct elements across these profiles, this research sheds new light on the complexity of teachers' pedagogical choices and the dynamics guiding their decisions in the preparation of teaching materials. Abstract (French): Cette étude vise à explorer les différentes approches adoptées par les enseignants du primaire dans la préparation de leurs supports de cours, un aspect fondamental de leur pratique pédagogique influençant directement l'apprentissage des élèves. En nous basant sur une méthodologie mixte, alliant un questionnaire (N = 183) et des entretiens (n = 12), nous avons cherché à comprendre non seulement les tendances générales dans l'utilisation, l'adaptation ou la création de supports de cours, mais aussi à identifier les préoccupations spécifiques à chaque profil d'enseignant. En se penchant sur les éléments communs et distincts entre les profils, cette recherche apporte un éclairage nouveau sur la complexité des choix pédagogiques des enseignants et sur les dynamiques qui régissent leur décision en matière de préparation des supports de cours.
