| Abstract: | In fiscal year 2025, the federal government reinstated COVID-19 relief funds. Vermont increased its efforts to bolster special education, career and technical education, and mental health resources. Vermont continues its efforts to reduce tax burdens on vulnerable Vermonters with Act 73's new foundation formula and pupil weight adjustments while proposing budget increases for fiscal year 2026.
