| Abstract (English): | This study analyzes the representation of affective-sexual and gender diversity in Children's and Young Adult Literature through picture books and comics, based on the collection of the Municipal Library Network of Cádiz: Santa María Library, Adolfo Suárez Library, and La Viña Library. The main objective is to discuss the presence of these items in the public holdings of the aforementioned libraries through a case study of the Cádiz model. To this end, a documentary analysis methodology is first employed, followed by an ethnographic approach through the design, implementation, and evaluation of reading workshops, taking into account the voices of the different agents involved: teachers, librarians, participating students, and the reading mediator. The workshops, focused on the topic of affective-sexual and gender diversity, are aimed at primary school students from educational centers in Cádiz and child-focused associations located in the neighborhoods surrounding the libraries under study, which regularly collaborate with them. This research offers a perspective on the issue within the given context while highlighting the need to renew and expand the selection of current inclusive multimodal readings in public and school libraries. These readings should go beyond challenging traditional stereotypes to address topics such as gender identity, promoting collaboration between libraries and schools as social agents of change to foster critical thinking, sustainable development and reading engagement. | Abstract (Spanish): | El presente trabajo analiza la representación de la diversidad afectivosexual y de género en la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil a través del álbum ilustrado y del cómic, a partir del corpus de la Red de Bibliotecas Municipales de Cádiz: Biblioteca Santa María, Biblioteca Adolfo Suárez y Biblioteca La Viña. El objetivo principal es conocer la presencia de dichos ítems en los fondos públicos de las mencionadas bibliotecas desde el estudio de caso del modelo gaditano. Para ello, se emplea en primer lugar una metodología de análisis documental, seguida de un enfoque de corte etnográfico mediante el diseño, la puesta en práctica y la evaluación de talleres de lectura, teniendo en cuenta las voces de los diferentes agentes implicados: docentes, bibliotecarios, alumnado participante y mediadora de lectura. Los talleres, centrados en la temática de diversidad afectivo-sexual y de género, están dirigidos a escolares en la etapa de Educación Primaria de centros educativos gaditanos y asociaciones centradas en la infancia que se encuentran en los barrios de las bibliotecas objeto de estudio y se relacionan con las mismas de manera habitual. Con esta investigación, se ofrece una visión del problema en el contexto mencionado a la vez que se evidencia la necesidad de renovar e incorporar una mayor oferta de lecturas actuales multimodales inclusivas en bibliotecas públicas y escolares, que no se limite a la ruptura de estereotipos tradicionales, sino que aborde otros temas como la identidad de género, apostando por la colaboración entre biblioteca-escuela como agentes sociales de cambio para fomentar el pensamiento crítico, el desarrollo sostenible y el gusto por la lectura.
