Abstract: The article reports the success of the continuation schools in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. There are many developments established in the schools which include the installation of a printing outfit and establishment of a factory class. Cooking, sewing, and home nursing are also established in the girls department under the direction of Bertha M. Mangan, a graduate of the Skidmore School of Arts.
