| Abstract: | The article reports on developments in Minnesota that are pertinent to education. They include the fall meeting of the Southern Minnesota Teachers' Association held November 4 and 5, 1898 at Mankato, the first day of the industrial school of the Relief Society of Saint Paul with an enrollment of 127 girls, and former Minneapolis board of education president A. T. Ankeny's severe criticism of the removal of sewing classes in the public schools. |
