Abstract: The article offers information on the teaching methods employed in LIB 221. It is stated that LIB 221 is a one-credit, eight-week information literacy course designed for students to achieve an understanding of the research process for them to become critical thinkers when it comes to selecting resources for their research needs. The course aims to help the students develop hands-on research skills for searching through books, articles and the World Wide Web, and to sharpen their skills in evaluating the material they located.
