Abstract: The article discusses legal obligations concerning medical supervision and treatment to injured student-athletes or spectators. It states that athletic trainers have a legal duty to relay pertinent information to physicians about injured athletes. It adds that colleges can be held liable for not having a trainer present when there was a duty to do so.
