Abstract: The article discusses the role of social media in organizational success. The organization can be improved through cycles of knowledge exchange that involve social networking, community building, and collective knowing. Social networking enables groups to come together on their own terms to share information and solve problems. Leveraging social media strategically in one's organizations encourages employees to improve the quality of their work and be more self-aware and improve an organization's capability to respond to turbulent market forces and a challenging economy.
