| Abstract: | The article provides a report which outlines the organizational progress of the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services from 2011 to 2012. The new strategic plan outlined by the ALCTS board is highlighted, which includes the goals of explaining what the organization is about and the functions it performs, improving operations, and sustaining ALCTS as a vibrant organization. The activities of the organization in continuing education and program offerings as discussed, as well as the implementation of the Standards Task Force to analyze standard development. |
