Abstract: This correction notice addresses an error in an article titled "Construction, renovation, and demolition waste in landfill: a review of waste characteristics, environmental impacts, and mitigation measures." The correction involves a change in the amount of waste generated annually, stating that around 1 billion tons of CRD waste are generated worldwide, with approximately 35% of this waste being disposed of in landfills.
