| Abstract: | The results of a workshop on evaluation and recommendation on rehabilitation and education services for the deaf are presented. The meeting reveals the following: (1) The consumer of services has experienced direct involvement as never before; (2) Professionals have been forced to examine their services; (3) The quality of all services for the deaf has been discussed openly; (4) Rehabilitation officials and educators recognized certain common goals; (5) Channels of communication and interaction among officials have been established; (6) Authority provisions are being dealt with; and (7) New perceptions of the services needed by the deaf are surfacing.
