Abstract: This eighth edition of "Wisconsin School Buildings" contains basic data and floor plans for each new construction project reported as being completed during 1991-93. It includes 146 projects, 46 of which were new free-standing buildings. A survey of Wisconsin school districts provides evidence of a continuing need in planning for school-building replacement in the state. Over 50 percent of the districts responding reported that they were currently involved in facility planning that might lead to a building project within 5 years. Information is also provided on individual districts' stages in the planning process, the success rates of school building referenda for 1991-93, reasons for the success or failure of such referenda, the types of proposed building projects, and the number approved through referenda. The schools are grouped according to grade level and whether they are new or replacement buildings. Each section includes a floor plan, general information, features, a brief project description, and a contact person. (LMI)
