The purpose is to provide a body of reading material that will not only give increased power in reading, but will at the same time allow the child to explore the natural world for the purpose of discovering interests and of increasing capacity for social adjustment. Added to each chapter a list of suggested questions to aid the teacher in the effective use of the texts. |
