| Abstract: | Teaching resources and professional development based on mathematics education research have the potential to support teachers to develop and sustain improved pedagogies. The Queensland Department of Education provided online professional learning modules for teachers of Prep (Foundation) to Year 10 mathematics. To support implementation of the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics this evidence-based resource would assist teachers in understanding the curriculum and providing support for quality teaching and learning. This resource exemplifies the partnerships between the department, researchers and teachers in building capability in mathematics teaching. |
