Abstract: During the 2023-24 academic year, Oklahoma's state system of higher education conferred 38,077 degrees and certificates -- an increase of 2.2 percent (827 awards) compared to the previous year and 4.0 percent (1,451 awards) over the past five years. In alignment with high-demand fields and critical occupations, state system institutions have seen a decade-long growth in degree and certificate production, with a 22.0 percent increase in STEM fields and an 11.5 percent increase in the health professions. Oklahoma's higher education system remains a key partner in supplying the workforce with graduates to meet the state's current and future demands. This report provides detailed information on degree and certificate production by award level, demographics, field of study, and alignment with critical occupations.
