Abstract: The Minnesota State Grant program is a need-based financial aid program that assists Minnesota resident undergraduates attending public and private postsecondary institutions in Minnesota, providing choice and access for the students to attend the institutions that best meet their needs. This report contains data on the number of awards and award amounts of Minnesota State Grants received by Minnesota-resident undergraduate students for fiscal year 2024 (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024). Because a student's State Grant award considers a federal Pell Grant award the student receives, this report includes tables and graphs of combined federal Pell and Minnesota State Grant awards received by Minnesota State Grant recipients. The report also includes data on student characteristics that impact the calculation of State Grant awards such as family adjusted gross income, dependency status/family circumstances, institution choice, and registration credit load. State Grant award recipient demographics such as race, ethnicity and gender are also reported.
