Abstract: The California Community Colleges Homeless and Housing Insecurity Program was created to address the significant and growing number of students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. In response to the significant and still growing number of college students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in California, the state legislature appropriated $20.5 million of ongoing funding to provide rapid rehousing services to community college students. This report includes background information regarding the establishment of housing support services to California community college students and a review of campus level and student outcome data.
