Abstract: This report provides an update on the 2021 California Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program and presents the 2025 Annual Report to the Legislature on the California Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program (Classified Grant) as required by statute (Education Code §44393(f)). This 2025 state report includes information on the 2021 Classified Grant Program and reflects the third year of program participant data collected for the 2021 Classified Grant Program. The local education agencies (LEAs) that successfully applied to this competitive grant program use these funds to support tuition, fees, books, and related services for participating classified staff; up to ten percent of grant funds may be used for program administrative purposes. This report responds to the requirements specified in statute and provides an update to policymakers and others interested in the California Classified School Employee Teacher Credentialing Program.
