Abstract: This report provides an executive summary of the main report, "The Economic Value of the Maine Community College System," which assesses the collective impact of the Maine Community College System (MCCS) as a whole on the state economy and the benefits generated by the colleges for students, taxpayers, and society. All results reflect employee, student, and financial data, provided by MCCS and the colleges, for fiscal year (FY) 2024-25. This summary provides the results of two analyses showing: (1) impacts on the Maine economy, measured in terms of added income; and (2) returns on investment to students, taxpayers, and society in Maine.
