Abstract: For students across Ohio, College Credit Plus (CCP) is a gateway to accelerating their education and career readiness. Established as an Advanced Standing program in Ohio Revised Code §3313.6013, CCP has reached its 10th year of existence in Ohio. This annual report of CCP, as mandated by the Ohio Revised Code §3365.15, depicts recent CCP data through 2024-2025. The data for this academic year show that it was one of growth and innovation for CCP. For enrollment, participation in CCP reached a new peak, exceeding 94,000 students. This signifies a nearly 8% growth in total participation over the previous year's enrollment, demonstrating the program's vital role in Ohio's educational landscape. In terms of CCP access, 32,170 students who participated in CCP met the definition of economically disadvantaged students, the equivalent of 34% of total CCP enrollment. Historically, the share of economically disadvantaged students in CCP hovered around 20%, making this year's figure a notable increase. This year marked the successful development and launch of the first Statewide Innovative Waiver Pathway, established under Ohio Revised Code §3365.131. This initiative opens the door to CCP for motivated students who may not meet traditional college readiness benchmarks. By completing this pathway, students earn an industry-recognized credential, certificate, or degree directly aligned with an in-demand job. The inaugural approved pathway focuses on Advanced Manufacturing. As CCP enters its second decade, it remains an engine for educational opportunity and workforce development. By consistently reducing the time and cost required to earn a degree while maintaining high academic standards, CCP continues to empower Ohio's students to accelerate their futures and strengthen the state's economy.
