Abstract: The Department for Education (DfE) commissioned Ipsos UK to conduct a comprehensive survey with the school support workforce in England across primary, secondary and special schools. A nationally representative online survey was conducted with 9,626 support staff across various roles, complemented by qualitative data from 32 interviews with school leaders. This Technical Appendix contains details of the methodology of the quantitative survey, data tables, and the survey questionnaire and interview questions.
