| Abstract: | This paper examines shifts in attitudes toward LGBTQ+ peers among Taiwanese Gen Z undergraduates between 2019 and 2025. Two cross-sectional surveys were conducted at Tamkang University: 2019 (N = 386, paper-based) and 2025 (N = 191, online, bilingual). Attitudes were measured using the Attitudes Toward Lesbians and Gay Men (ATLG) scale, with 15 overlapping items reverse-coded for comparability. Reliability in 2025 was excellent (Cronbach's α = 0.94). Mean scores declined from 3.95 (2019) to 2.48 (2025), p < 0.001, Cohen's d ≈ 2.21, indicating substantial attitudinal change. Subgroup analysis showed notable gender differences in 2025 (female mean = 1.68; male mean = 3.37). Results suggest legal reforms, visibility, and interpersonal contact contributed to the normalization of diversity and highlight the importance of adult education practices, including inclusive pedagogy and faculty development, in sustaining equitable campus climates.
