Abstract: The Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Southwest--in partnership with the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) and participating districts--conducted a study to assess the usability, feasibility, and acceptability of the Leading Early Childhood Achievement and Development (LEAD) professional learning series. This learning series focuses on play-based learning and high-quality interactions in prekindergarten (preK) and kindergarten classrooms. A detailed discussion of this research project and its key findings is included in the accompanying briefing slides. This technical appendix is intended to supplement the briefing slides and provide additional background information on the study and more detailed information on the data, methods, and analyses used to answer the study's research questions (RQs).
