| Abstract (English): | The article focuses on a case of recurrent chorioamnionitis caused by Citrobacter koseri, an uncommon pathogen in obstetric infections. It presents the case of a 27-year-old woman with obesity and a history of urinary infections, who experienced two gestational losses associated with this bacteria. Despite antibiotic treatment, the infection persisted, highlighting the importance of early microbiological diagnosis and comprehensive management in patients with risk factors. The study also emphasizes the need to develop specific protocols for screening and treating infections in future pregnancies. [Extracted from the article] |
