Title: Information and Knowledge Systems
Description: Information and knowledge management systems are crucial technologies in today's world and form an integral part of the learning management system (LMS) and decision science. Dissemination of knowledge is effectively managed with the adoption of LMS. The pandemic period witnessed the accelerated and massive use of the LMS with the adoption of online classes, which, to a great extent mitigated the educational needs of society. In the present era of increased reliance on online methods of imparting education and the introduction of the digital university in the last year Union budget presentation, information, and knowledge management has assumed greater proportion and the world is now experiencing a greater reliance on it. From this perspective, this book can certainly contribute to knowledge building and management of delivery mechanisms. We are also excited about the science of information and knowledge management as an integrated science that focuses on the study and design of intelligent computational systems, including knowledge of logic and basic probability, calculus, data structure, engineering optimization, and matrix theory to develop the concepts to solve a given problem. The book is systematically organized into 11 chapters and cover topics of current interest to researchers, academicians, industrials, and scientists, and prepares them to appreciate the field and for discussion on further technological concepts of Information and Knowledge Systems (IKS). The various topics of the book have been explained in clear and simple language. Readers will be able to appreciate the concept of Information and Knowledge Systems together with their engineering applications.
