| Abstract: | We recognize that a paradigm shift of this magnitude takes time, as psychostimulants have been the mainstay of pharmacologic ADHD treatment for generations, but we are grateful to the editor for giving us this forum to share the experiences of our patients and their families from which we can learn. Comment on "Extended-Release Viloxazine Compared to Atomoxetine for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder" Following the 5-day washout period of atomoxetine, post-treatment scores were compared with baseline pretreatment scores to confirm that baseline scores were re-established prior to initiating viloxazine extended release (VER).
