Abstract: This letter to the editor describes a case of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) with blurry vision as the initial symptom. The patient, a 38-year-old man, presented with visual blurring, difficulty breathing, and slurred speech. The neurological examination showed mydriasis and nonreactive pupils, dysarthria, bilateral facial paralysis, and areflexia. The patient was diagnosed with GBS and received plasma exchange treatment, which resulted in improvement. The authors discuss the atypical characteristics of this case and the possible underlying mechanism. They emphasize the importance of accurate diagnosis and early treatment for GBS.
