Abstract: The article discusses the potential risks associated with creating life forms composed of mirror-image biological molecules. Topics include pathways to constructing a mirror bacterium, approaches that might be proposed to reduce risks, and recommendation to take steps to prevent the production of mirror genomes and proteomes, or functional equivalents sufficient to enable the construction of a mirror cells.
