Abstract: Professional identity is defined as how an individual understands themselves within their profession, encompassing their values, beliefs, skills, and behaviors. Alfred Adler viewed professional identity as emphasizing the interconnectedness of personal and professional growth. This article focuses on the experiences of my personal and professional life and how those intersections have affected my professional growth as an Indigenous art therapist, marriage and family therapist, and supervisor from an Adlerian perspective.
