Abstract: This three-part article shares a Jewish reading of Alfred Adler's Individual Psychology. The first part examines Adler's own spiritual and ethnocultural journey. The second part explores Judaic and Jewish cultural imprints in the spirit and the letter of Individual Psychology theory and practice. The third part is devoted to the core psychodynamics of anti-semitism as one of the notable psychological phenomena in the development of Individual Psychological theory at the time the theory was developed and as it stays alive and active now. The third part concludes with an exploration of lifestyle themes in antisemitism. In all three parts, the author draws on existing psychological, historical, and social texts, including both archival and published scholarly works. The reader is encouraged to consider the dynamic explanatory intersection of all these layers, as they were important historical ingredients in the development of theory and remain critically important. As a matter of urgent concern for Individual Psychological theory and practice at the turn of the first quarter of the 21st century, the author invites readers to find their unique lifestyle responses to many conclusions and several significant questions posed.
