Abstract: The article describes the group relations model and how learning from the model be of use to psychotherapists and counselors working in organizations. Group relations conferences offer a unique arena for live investigation of issues of role, authority and leadership within organizational life. The interaction between the subsystems within the conference and participants, consultants and management opens up the complexity of diversity.
