Abstract: The author focuses on the issues on alcohol and drug use. It presents an analysis of the problem of adolescents riding with drunk drivers. The survey revealed that rural residence, single parent or no parent, prevalence of driving under the influence, socio-economic status, lower licensure rate and lower educational attainment in the community were associated with riding with a drunk driver.
