Abstract: The article reports on the multiple cross-over study concerning the administration of four self-rating scales to a single neurotic patient. The study aims to measure the reaction of the patient to treatment with the utilization of the four rating scales. The rating methods used include the self-rating scale, check list of neurotic symptoms, target symptoms, and global self-rating. The patient has undergone a double-blind drug trial where tablets were administered in two bottles including chlordiazepoxide, placebo, diazepam, and hydroxyzine pamoate. The study reveals that the multiple cross-over method is an effective tool in identifying changes of symptoms.
