Abstract: The article presents a clinical study on the effectiveness of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), adaptive pacing (APT) and graded exercise therapies (GET), and specialist medical care (SMC) in the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome (PACE). The study used parallel-group randomized trial in 641 patients with PACE and PACE-related disease myalgic encephalomyelitis. Furthermore, the result shows that CBT and GET are moderately effective when combined with SMC than with the treatments alone.
