Abstract: The article offers information on the cross-sectional household surveys, the Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS) conducted in 16 countries to find statistics for tobacco users. According to the survey, 48·middot;6 men and 11 ·middot;3 percent women consumed tobacco, 40 ·middot;7 percent of men and 5 percent of women smoked tobacco product. The survey also showed that maximum tobacco was consumed by people in between 25 to 34-years of age.
